Cultural Performance

Cultural Performance can include the following and will be tailored to your needs and timing:

• Play the Yidaki (Didgeridoo)
• Explain the history, true name of the instrument, and its uses in Aboriginal society
• Demonstrate how they make the variety of sounds
• Play traditional style and contemporary style with modern beats
• Tell stories that will engage through the sounds of the Yidaki, humour and their personal journeys
• Incorporate Clap Sticks or Boomerang into the performance
• Brendan can also include family artefacts in his stories and performance
• Gumaroy is also a poet and can recite poems he has written about his experiences and observations
